Developing the Final Line Up

From looking at all my Design development I started to see how my ideas would hang as a collection, and included more detail of fabric and colour details to be used. I worked into my designs  altering and changing them as I went.

Comments made by my teachers were that the Pleated skirt and top wasn't working within the potential line up and the longer skirt should prehaps be shortened. It was suggested that I should design a Cropped Jacket that can be versitile to go with my Trouser and Top combination as well as skirts and shorts. They also suggested I included a coat.

I took this advice on Board and drew out the Line up again with alterations, adding fabric indication, colour and some back and side views.

Made colour and outline stronger and clearer. Although I am starting to like the feel and look of the final line up and I felt as though I need to think about fabrication and how i might achieve some of these silhouettes as comments made my lecturers was that they lacked detail and thought. Not yet developed enough.

I therefore Starting to realise how my ideas might translate into fabric. Above you can see development ideas with silhouette into not only trousers, but dress, skirt and short combinations. I really like the idea of having large pleats for my aesthetic and feature on my designs which would also ultimatly achieve the large silhouette.

Starting to add more detailing, inclusion of large pleats, seams and topstitching.
