Further Collage Work with more detailing

The next few pages show more design development pages.  A definate feel of my potential collection is beginning to come through. Fabric thoughts are waxed Linens, Gaberdines, Cotton Poplin, Cotton Lawns with a white and neutral colour palette.

Developed from initial collage work, thinking about proportions, waist height and the idea of incorporating the belt detailing with belt loops to my designs

Comments by my teachers were that although the design development is strong I havn't got a consistent silhouette- from the pleated skirt to Oversized trouser. As the strongest silhouette on the pages above definatly comes through in the high waisted oversized trouser (which I think will become my statement peice). I will therefore use this Trapeze shape to develop other peices in my collection to go with the oversized trouser.
